It may look unusual, but holding a car key fob beneath your chin can sometimes extend the distance from which the remote works.
The trick is especially useful when you are walking through a crowded parking lot trying to locate your vehicle or attempting to lock the doors after realizing you may have walked too far away.
Instead of repeatedly pressing the button while pointing the remote toward the parking lot, placing the key fob close to your head can provide a small but noticeable increase in signal range.

Your Head Can Affect the Remote’s Radio Signal
A functioning key fob communicates with a vehicle using a radio signal.
